Plumbing problems cause removal of Greece school's students

Staff report

September 9, 2011 ET

Students from Greece's Lakeshore Elementary School were relocated to English Village Elementary school today because of plumbing problems.

Greece Central School District Spokeswoman Laurel Heiden said the toilets at Lakeshore were not working properly, leading to a sewage backup in the building. Students were removed from the building so repairs could be made. Heiden said Lakeshore students would finish the day at English Village and be bused home at their regular dismissal time.
